Raccoonfolk
- Also may be called “Trash Pandafolk”.
A slightly humanoid and enlarged raccoon. They are naturally masked dexterous scavengers and are the clever probably rogue type characters. They find ways in and back out of trouble constantly. The ideal build should focus on DEX & probably not have a lawful alignment. They've entered this campaign as part of a set of homebrew Animalfolk, with the first player character example being Milo.
Raccoonfolk Traits
- Creature Type: Humanoid
- Size: Small (average 2-3 feet tall - see Small Size Rule)
- Speed: 30 feet
- Languages: Common and Sylvan suggested.
- Nimble Paws: You are proficient with thieves’ tools and the Sleight of Hand skill.
- Scavenger’s Insight: You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks to find hidden objects or useful items.
- Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light (shades of gray only).
Additional Fine Tuning
- Nearsighted. Disadvantage on ranged attacks!
- Dichromats. Perceive only
green & blue. Anything else translates as a shade of grey. Could be amusing if they're trying to figure out the color of a red or bronze dragon they've stumbled on. - Carnivore. Relevant in civilized dining situations for role playing purposes.
