Caislen Campaign Notes

Havenspass Commune is subdivision of Havenspass. It has a stone fence running around the perimeter with a few decorative openings, originally built for style to be glamorous, but in recent years less attractive metal gates have been installed to combat crime as it rises in the area. The majority of local Wood Elves live within its walls. This notably includes Jules' Mothers. While open to the entire Havenspass community to come and go, the elves are fairly watchful about the comings and goings through the gates.

• Mistwood Sap Resin – Sticky, fragrant resin tapped from the forest’s ancient trees. Alchemists use it for adhesives, varnishes, or fog-creating potions.
  • Wood Elves do most of the collecting.
  • Bottled inside of the Havenspass Commune.
• Maple Syrup – The famous sweet export made by the local Wood Elves of the commune from local maple trees. Thick and slow to spoil; perfect for long-distance trade or as a rare cooking ingredient for those that can afford it.
  • Wood Elves do 100% of the collecting and guard that practice cautiously.
  • Bottled exclusively inside the Havenspass Commune.
• Elven Cordage – Strong, lightweight cordage woven from vines within The Mistwood by Wood Elf craftsfolk. Ideal for climbing, ship rigging, or traps. It has properties like paracord in that it can split into lesser strands.
  • As the name implies, this is a Havenspass Commune produced product.
  • There is a lot of demand for this in Mythburg due to the ports.
• Ravine Clay Earthenware – Sturdy pots, jars, and amphorae fired from clay deposits in the deep ravines. Cheap, durable shipping containers that often get resold.
  • These are made primarily inside of the Havenspass Commune by skilled Wood Elves.
  • These became important as a part of the local industry for shipping purposes, particularly for the elves who needed jars for their syrup and resin products.
