Caislen Campaign Notes

Succu, pronounced “Suck You”, is someone you could call a Witch, but you could call a bunch of other names as well. She's a 20s something human looking woman¹⁾, with a CHArisma stat of 19, that flies around Havenspass & The Mistwood on a broom, topless. This leads to the witch stereotyping. When encountered at the Goat Tavern she has all the charm of a Succubus after her prey, so some see her a bit like that when she's trying to buy them drinks. The toplessness continues to contribute to that vibe. But all things aside that she may or may not be, she IS a local Wizard in Havenspass.

Succu maintains a house in Havenspass but most of her time is spent zooming around The Mistwood. It is rumored she has another residence out there in the forest as well. Her perspective as a local is fairly unique because she's young, has access to fly quickly all over the area so sees a lot of things, and almost everyone likes her aside from jealous acting romantic partners of those that might admit to liking her too much.

When people appear at her doorstep in Havenspass they usually do because they need a Wizard for something. This leads to all manner of interactions just in itself.

Succu has recently began acting as a mail carrier. Those in the know are calling her service “Windward Mail”²⁾ Being someone that can fly around in the region on a broom gives her unique access to just about anywhere above ground, including the cities & mountains.

• Succu is deadly serious about nothing stopping mail from being delivered. She seems not afraid to use any of her assorted abilities to ensure letters get to their owners.
  • “Neither snow nor rain nor dragons shall stop completion of mail delivery.”
  • This almost had ramifications for Atlas while he had the Niflome Moonshiners letter in his possession, but he sent it to a public space where she could retrieve it without drama.
• Quest: If The Party get to know her, she may want some help with a business venture. This quest hasn't been given yet, but it could be in the future.

• Met Alimir & Jules at The Goat and promptly bought them drinks and hit on them both. Both PCs were attracted / fascinated, but ultimately Alimir got himself under control and Jules went with the more logical side of her brain.
• Met Eyrun there as well, although didn't really interact with her, but did comment that she's the “awkward one” of The Party. Another social blow for Eyrun when “a succubus” is kind of like “nah, not today.”
• Met up with The Party a second time and tried to use the succubus “Dominate” ability on Eyrun. This failed, and Succu has moved on to more of an outright dislike of Eyrun.
• Delivered mail to Jules's Moms' house for Jhason, which implies she'll even do postal service work for The Undead. In this fantasy realm setting this makes her stand out as someone who can serve as a messenger between some groups, races, enemies, and whatever that normally don't mesh too well in person.
