1. Party meets Skip and he's a horrible drunk pining over Ema and his issues about infertility.
2. Skip turns out to be part of The Cult Of Alden.
3. Skip interacts with The Party somewhat, even helping them in a combat as they get attacked while locating the infamous Shovel Of Alden.
4. Ema gets a fertility potion from Phil, which basically puts another nail in the coffin of her relationship with Skip.
5. Skip having knowledge about things related to Alden and now losing his mind over Ema goes to the graveyard around the Shrine Of Hayte with Lira, breaks into the small remaining mausoleum, which is a secret micro-dungeon, and goes after the demon scrolls from the Toc Clan Coal Mine Event stored there by The Three. The Party follows him but flees the encounter right as Skip uses one of the scrolls to summon a demon, but they're not sure which.
6. The Crompse Causal Loop cycles through and some hard truths about Skip's whole life and persona materialize.
   1. Skip's actual problems with Ema about fertility started thousands of years ago.
   2. Wyrd Uncle Lugo is really the entity that ruined Skip's life with Ema.
   3. Skip doesn't know it, but Jules is an ancestor of his 6 to 8 generations later.
7. Skip goes full on trying to get better karma after the loop.³⁾

In my original incarnation of the Goldvale scenario Skip, his wife and the necromancer named Phil are all humans instead of dark elves. The premise is they're a love triangle that the players stumble across and gets quests from, which led to chaos. They've all known each other for a long time, both guys had interest in Ema, then she chose Skip and married him. Down the road a bit Skip & Ema can't conceive due to infertility, and the couple starts coping poorly. Phil here becomes known as the local drunk and spends most of his time at The Card House gambling and drinking. As Ema takes her own path which involves seeking help from Phil via questing PCs at the time to get a fertility potion from him to help her get pregnant. This goes horribly wrong because it doesn't help mend any relationships, and the potion didn't have the outcome that was desired either.

Running this scenario through again I've changed it up so that Skip is a dark elf. In the original Goldvale scenario there was a graveyard. In this one I've replaced it with Skip running a crematorium in the same spot on the map as a way to “screw Phil” because an area without bodies to loot doesn't benefit a necromancer.
