Caislen Campaign Notes

Fauxbe is a hybrid mimic¹⁾ imposter pretending to be the real Phoebe Nephele. Her origins trace back to a plot against Eyrun Nephele by the god Torralta who is in league with others including the Mons-ophagus & Succu as part of an even wider plot against the city of Havenspass.

• While Eyrun and The Party were on top of the Cloudfire Mountains trying to find the real Phoebe Nephele as part of the Goliath right of adulthood, they didn't arrive in time to find that Phoebe was kidnapped by the forces of Torralta and Fauxbe was transported to Havenspass by Succu.
• Near the same time, Alimir was taken by Succu as well and he remembers nothing from the encounter, waking up a couple weeks later confused in Mythburg.
• A couple weeks later The Party found themselves in the Ensorcelled Desert wherein the existence of Torralta as a counter-god to Eyrun's Silfralta was discovered. Torralta's minions had the real Phoebe hostage in a pyramid and she escaped with the help of The Party.
• By this time Fauxbe the imposter had spent enough time in Havenspass to murder Atlas Nephele and take control of the family business, with no real Nephele's from Eyrun's family to stop her.
• Knowing most of the above thanks to the help of Kelthor's Book Of Great Awareness, the Nephele sisters left the whole mess behind and headed off to Goldvale, uncertain about what would transpire in Havenspass later.
• On a related note, Jules encountered Wyrd Uncle Lugo in Goldvale and made him promise to check in on her mom's over in Havenspass and informed him about the imposter.
