Caislen Campaign Notes

The Mons-ophagus is a peculiar and seemingly hugely threatening monster in this campaign. First encountered when “Breadbert Loads Cargo” and later it would be found sitting in a cave high above the Ensorcelled Desert, which had also recently been exposed due to landslide to access from the Cloudfire Mountains.

Looking like a fancy sarcophagus decorated in elaborate runes, this creature is rumored to be nothing of the sort. Some writings found inside a the tunnel between the Ensorcelled Desert and Cloudfire Mountains indicate it has a past history of being a mimic bitten and converted into a vampire, creating a hybrid creature with traits of both.
