Plus Giant Kin!

There are standard Goliaths as a race and using various classes as found in the core materials, but then are specific homebrew subraces, social divisions, historical notes and whatnot in this game. For Goliaths it is important to note that they have specific Giant Kin ancestry as well that shades who and what they are. Some examples of those giants also appear in game via historical and social connections.

• Goliaths have lifespans comparable to humans, usually living less than a century (typically entering adulthood in their late teens).¹⁾

Due to Eyrun's backstory lore, it can be determined that officially multiple tribes of Goliaths settled in an area known as Havenspass. Since Eyrun herself comes from there and she is of Cloud Giant ancestry it is safe to assume that there are more of them out there, including Eyruns Family. The original Goliath tribes there came from Storm, Cloud, Fire & Hill Giant ancestry. At this time the same traits that made the area attractive to these tribes also made it attractive to a slew of giant-kin such as trolls and ogres.

To further the understanding of Havenspass's racial makeup of Goliaths, we'll say those tribes intermingled over time and the tribe structure broke down resulting in what is the more intermingled modern day town style community for the area. Tribes officially being a thing of the past.

It is known thanks to The Party adventuring on the cloud island of Mustardia that at least a few cloud giants and perhaps a storm giant exist. Game lore demands that they be probably between 24-26 feet tall. Cloud Giants are typically neutral aligned, Storm Giants usually chaotic good. In Mustardia both kinds have a strong affiliation with the local “Cloud Stone”. These giants like to subtly observe, sometimes influence, chronicle / interpret omens, and on rare occasions interfere with the non cloud people below. They view themselves as near demi-gods.

• HOJ (Pronounced as “HOJ” for short, but full name is actually “Honey Dijon” (mustard) with all the letters that are not the initial H, O & J pronounced silently. A cloud giant represented by a bottle of honey dijon mustard with googly eyes glued to it as a figure. Gender unknown, motives unknown.
• EETH (Pronouced as “EETH” for short, but full name is actually “Sweet Heat” (mustard) with all the letters that are not the initial E, E, T & H pronounced silently. A cloud giant represented by a bottle of sweet head mustard with googly eyes glued to it as a figure. Gender unknown, motives unknown.
