Wereflea Lore: Somehow, somewhere, a werewolf lord was slain. As his blood pooled around him, and ordinary fleas feasted on the tainted remains. The lycanthropic curse—meant only for humanoids twisted into something far more insidious within their minuscule bodies. These fleas became werefleas: Asymptomatic carriers of the werewolf disease. Yes, disease, not curse. For there can be more than one kind of lycanthropy or therianthropy if you want to get technical. This is a flea-borne lycanthropy. During full moons those bitten turn, and even when there are not full moons they get a little hairy and have…urges. Note that new fleas can spawn by biting anyone infected.
