Caislen Campaign Notes

• NueNue, pronounced “New New”.
• Resident of Orangevale
• Knight (Based on default Knight stat block from the MM.)
• Alley Dwarf sub-race.
• Female
• Misc things such as age, the way she dresses, talks, eats, etc are all TBD by the player.
• PC/NPC status, functioning as a supplement to Urist in the original timeline and then becoming an NPC who doesn't know Urist after the Nephele Timeline Branch Event.
• Alignment: Lawful Neutral.
• Does collect XP if functioning as a PC but does not level up as a class. Instead when hitting a new level the player may add either a new skill proficiency, a new weapon she's capable of using¹⁾ or something debated with the DM that helps the character evolve on its own path. Should the attached Urist ever perish, NueNue may be eligible to take the built up XP she's acquired and reconfigure as an actual class based PC depending on how she's evolved to date.²⁾
• Entered the game thanks to the infamous “Deck Of Many Things” granting Urist a loyal knight that appeared 30 feet away who will serve him until death.³⁾
  • Since NueNue basically got erased from her spot in The Party due to the new timeline branch, she has no memory of ever meeting Urist or the rest of his companions. But he remembers her since his memory is intact.

NueNue is from the town of Orangevale which is known for having a population of alley dwarves, the gutter trash retards of the dwarven race. Is this a politically correct way to describe a population of technically homeless street dwellers? Of course not. But NueNue must have been chosen for Urist because she compliments a Barbarian perfectly. Her own history is not grand, but she's considered an honorable “Knight”⁴⁾ at least amongst her people in the alleys of Orangevale because she's always taken a stand against those who would harm Alley Dwarves. That said, she's no strategist & has sub par intelligence.

There is an issue in Orangevale wherein her people are frequently used as cheap labor or even slave labor that she'd like to address someday.
