Her proper title should be “Lady” but she rejects this and forces everyone to use the more commonly masculine title “Lord” instead. She rules by virtue of being devious, having excellent strategy, and generally doing anything to make the city function regardless of how much of it must be destroyed and rebuilt to achieve this goal.
