Caislen Campaign Notes

Julian is a Wood Elf male that has been described as a “practitioner of mercantile”.¹⁾ Which is the fancy way of saying he runs Julian's General Store in Havenspass. This store sells the most general things from the equipment chapter of the standard 5.5e PHB.

“Julian” as a name was picked spontaneously by the players during a game session. Since in real life the Dungeon Master knew a Julian who would work a boring job all day and then go home and drink himself silly on bourbon, it shall be declared that outside of work our fictional Julian goes home and drinks Bourbon shipped up from Oakenshire's own Bourbon Barrel Tavern. That's his thing. When not at work, he's shit faced.

• Alimir talked Julian into giving him a healing potion, with promise of paying him back later, on the basis that Alimir would use it while keeping the roads free for trade, which very much so impacts Julian's business. Alimir quickly paid Julian back in the form of 6 blue quartz.³⁾
