Cloud Stones
Cloud Stones are a special rock solid material that have the magical properties, one of which is appearing to be made of cloud material complete with a silver lining while still being rock solid and heavy. Cloud stones can come in all shapes and sizes, as well as be used to make some special items. Interestingly this kind of stone is the closest thing to matching what a certain cleric uses as a holy symbol. As for other magical properties of cloud stones, there are so far just a few examples to try to determine that from as listed below.
Cloud Stone Of Mustardia
The Cloud Stone of Mustardia is a boulder sized incarnation of cloud stone sitting just outside of Mustardia Manor. The Party was once there needing healing and when the giants let them touch the stone they were not only healed but got the effects of a long rest as well! No one asked for specific details about the stone, such as where it came from, or if there are more. For all anyone knows cloud stones might be what keep floating cloud islands in the sky, and maybe one or more exist on every cloud island out there. It is all just speculation for now.
Cloud Stone Ring
The Cloud Stone Ring is in possession of Eyrun and was a gift from the Cloud Giants she encountered at Mustardia HOJ & EETH. It just felt right for her when she put it on although further properties and effects of this ring remain unknown as of this rambling. Potential logical abilities that might be associated with the ring, based on game lore & speculation so far include:
- Healing
- Appears to activate healing powers when there has been trauma.
- Confirmed to be able to cure Therianthropy per incident with NPC Natalie.
- Confirmed to be able to do some massive healing to normal hit points.
- Floating
- Reducing rests (aka short rest could count as a long rest)
- Giant related misc.
- Feywild related misc.
- A formed bond with whatever god plot rabbit hole Eyrun goes down.
