Lapata

“Goliath”
Minifigure: Suspiciously using an alien minifigure when portrayed at the game table.
Male, indeterminate age maybe in the 30s or 40s.
Has a vested interest in acquiring Tartarusium, a form of titanium found only in this campaign setting.
- Looking for miners.
  - Has made an offer of employment to The Party.
- Will pay 50 gold per day or 10 cats, whatever works best as payment.
There's something off about Lapata's mannerisms. Much in the same way there was something off about a guy called Zapata, an NPC from another continent. This includes not quite having social interactions normally, dressing a little out of fashion, and similar.
Lapata is a member of the Rockworks Guild, but is treated poorly there due to his operations not being viable or traditional.

Lapata's residence doubles as an armor shop, where the armor is made of tartarusium and the price point isn't viable for locals, or even most travelers.
He was telling The Party about needing more tartarusium for his “ship” then corrected himself and said “shop” on their very first encounter.
Rest assured the armor there is of such high quality it seems almost out of this world, but so does the price.
