Plump-cheeked, endlessly cheerful little hoarders, these bipedal rodents are ready to stuff their cheeks with treasures. Hamsterfolk turn scavenging into heroism.

• Creature Type: Humanoid
• Size: Small (average 1-2 feet tall - see Small Size Rule)
• Speed: 30 feet
• Languages: Common and Sylvan
• Cheek Pouches: As a bonus action, you can stow or retrieve a Tiny object (no more than 5 lbs). Items stored this way don’t count against your carrying capacity.
• Tenacious: You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened and gain proficiency in the Survival skill.
• Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light (shades of gray only).

A cute fluffy cheek-pouch charm that magically fills every morning with 3 glowing berries. Eating one restores 1d6 hit points, but there’s a 1-in-4 chance the berry explodes, dealing 1d4 fire damage to you and making a loud pop that might attract nearby creatures. A hampsterfolk gets this to start with as bonus loot.
