Alchemy Bottle

The Alchemy Bottle1) can be imagined as an 8oz, wide-mouth, sports drink type bottle. Very durable plastic texture, screw on lid, and opaque orange vibe2).

Rules

  1. Whomever is physically touching the bottle declares out loud which substance from the below list it will produce until the following dawn.
  2. Whatever substance and volume it is locked into for the rest of a day, stands, no matter if it changes hands.
  3. It can dump out a maximum of no more than 1 gallon per minute of whatever substance. Substance limits apply, see below.
  4. After dawn each day, it is ready to be used anew.

Substances

  1. Honey, 1 gallon.
  2. Mayonnaise, 4 gallons.
  3. White Vinegar, 2 gallons3).
  4. Spicy Salsa, 1 gallon.
  5. Kcuhc Sirron's Bath Water4), 3 gallons.
  6. Goat Blood, 1 gallon.
  7. Olive Oil5), 1 gallon.
  8. The slime stuff that leaves a trail from an ooze type monster.

Consequences

These substances are not simply being created by magic. They are being summoned from elsewhere. This implies that they may be missed where they came from. Results of such missing shall be recorded to see if it spawns any dumb plot lines or drama later.

  • You, The Party, already know what you've done by the time you've read this.
    • Eyrun, player character, who held this magical item for quite awhile, started to piece together what's going on at a game session!6)
    • There seems to be some consequences happening to the mountain goats around Havenspass.
    • Fun fact, some quality olive oil is produced in the Havenspass Farmlands.
    • A certain god might also have a stake in things related to the jar.
1)
A parody of the standard Alchemy Jug in the DMG.
2)
See the DM's kitchen for a visual reference.
3)
Someone will end up looking up the PH of White Vinegar.
4)
Read that name backwards.
5)
