Torralta embodies the harsh, unforgiving clarity of cloudless skies, the desiccating void of hot dry air, inevitable despair, malice born of emptiness, and the deliberate withering of hope as sort of the antithesis of the god Silfralta.¹⁾ The first manifestation of Torralta in this campaign setting is appropriately in the Ensorcelled Desert, which sits to the east of the very contrasting Cloudfire Mountains.

Torralta manifests as an androgynous humanoid figure composed of shimmering, transparent heat haze and dry, empty air, sometimes looking like glass or crystal. The form constantly shifts like a desert mirage, with sort of sharp crystalline edges.

In Torralta’s presence, the air feels thin and parched. Mortals experience profound thirst, a sense of being utterly exposed and vulnerable, and a creeping, soul-draining hopelessness. The voice is a dry, rasping whisper like wind.

• Holy Symbol: A clear crystal shard known as a Void Crystal that sometimes has a gas trapped inside of it. These crystal can range from small things that'd fit as jewelry pieces to large boulder sized structures.
  • Breaking one open sometimes can release what is known as a Void Reaver, a creature trapped in a dehydrated undead state inside of it that hungers for moisture and will try to take it from the living to regenerate itself when released.
  • Void Cystals are the counterpart to Cloud Stones. They drain life force, absorb and eliminate moisture, nullify some healing and other magical effects. They are beautiful yet lethal.
• Naming: “Torralta” draws from “torr”/“þurr” (dry/torrid) + “alta” (high/elevated), mirroring Silfralta’s etymology while flipping it to barren heights and merciless clarity.

• Cultists, clerics, paladins and fanatics who perform rituals to banish clouds, summon dry winds, or spread despair or fixate on dehydration in some format.
• Desert nomads or hermits who have embraced emptiness.
• Desiccated horrors and sometimes fire or wind elementals or related.
• Undead or withered guardians — Mummies, desiccated zombies, or spirits bound by void crystals.

• Torralta has so far taken the real Phoebe Nephele hostage while she was traveling on top of the Cloudfire Mountains and somehow sent an imposter Phoebe back to Havenspass successfully.
  • Eyrun Nephele and her crew have rescued Phoebe from the desert and must discover more.
  • This obviously all has to do with Eyrun being the first true cleric of Silfralta in a long time.
