The town of Goldvale itself gets its name from the endless seeming drainage ditches and irrigation ditches that all have connections back to this Goldfish Pond. This pond is also the current resting place of the artifact known as the Shovel Of Alden thanks to The Party. There's a lot more to this though which must yet be discovered. Should have been discovered long ago. But a DM never knows what PCs will do or fail to do.
