An otherworldly entity that appeals to farmers, particularly unethical ones that are okay with slave labor, some otherworldly powers asserted over their crops to increase harvests, and don’t mind paying tribute to The Eldritch Alpaca by keeping at least one real Alpaca on their property. A custom warlock cantrip called Conjure Rat is associated with this entity, along with a custom first level spell called Conjure Cat.
Lore about this entity so far stems from Orangevale where a farmer named Jebediah, who has a passion for banjo music, is a warlock to The Eldritch Alpaca. Part of his deal is that he encouraged to have local alley dwarves kidnapped to become farm hands, and they in turn are encouraged to give thanks to the entity.
The goals of The Eldritch Alpaca are unknown at this time, but due to the Orangevale connection they at least have some influence in Alley Dwarf slave trade, influence over farmers, and by default connections into anything those farmers do. This may not seem like the biggest baddest entity to exist, but it is the subtle ones that can spread amongst the common folk that must be watched out for.
At each spell level a custom spell will be added, likely following the pattern of summoning farm and farm adjacent creatures. New warlocks start with Eldritch Blast and Conjure Rat as their known cantrips, no exceptions. Likewise one of their first ever 1st level spells must be Conjure Cat.
This entity has an agenda and being a warlock to them comes at a price for the sake of role playing. As the name suggests, the Level 3 Subclass of any warlock under this patron must be the “Great Old One Patron” option as found in the PHB. For comedic value when someone first sells themselves to The Eldritch Alpaca a document appears before them that merely requires the scribble their name on it. This document is known as “The Al-pact-a”.
