The Cans District is a food processing hub unique to Mythburg because it is primarily a place where canned goods are produced for long distance trade as a secondary reason, and the primary reason is to stock sea going vessels with food. The streets here are sticky from numerous processing facilities operating around the clock and there are tin scraps everywhere. The Cans is also known as one of the lower security areas of the city so a lot of new arrivals easily enter for the first time here for the low price of 5 gold at the main gates. The Cans is one of several districts that have a dock facility attached as well, so ships can also arrive here.
Based on existing campaign lore so far, some of the top canned goods include pot roast, chili, fruit pie filling, and canned fruits.
As Mythburg as a whole is so large, this is not a complete list of people that reside here. It is instead references to any NPC that becomes important to the players or the dungeon master for whatever reason. Additional references to named people may be found under other entries, such as looking at a shop's entry where the shop keeper might be detailed.
Some sort of mystery surrounds a place known as Pigsfeet Canning. True to the name, the business spends its time canning pickled pigsfeet. While The Party were getting a bite to eat at the Tin-Roast, a person who works at Pigsfeet Canning was complaining that their workplace had suddenly shut down a couple days ago, gates locked up around the facility. Apparently this business normally never closes, and none of the currently ousted employees know what is going on. A visit by The Party to Devilish Financiers to inquire about property titles and the like was met with speculation that no such transfers or sales have happened either.
