The beautiful thing about Ted, the skeleton, was that he only exists for as long as the Ring Of Ted remains on his finger. If Ted gets killed, the ring de-animates the skeleton and current incarnation of Ted is simply lost. BUT because all RPG players get attached, it is possible to slide the ring onto an entirely different skeleton found laying around anywhere (just dig something up) and restart the whole process, raising a new Skeleton Also Named Ted and going through the motions. Familiar, but a LV 1 restart, maybe with some slightly different outcomes than the last incarnation(s). The beautiful thing about Ted, the skeleton, was that he only exists for as long as the Ring Of Ted remains on his finger.  +The Ring Of Ted is a simple looking metal ring, but its creator imbued it with the power to bring a skeleton, any skeleton so long as it isn’t already an undead, and turn it into an undead skeleton that interestingly has a blank slate for their character/personality. This skeleton immediately becomes sentient and starts learning from those around it, usually being heavily influenced by the behavior patterns, alignments and goals of those same people. If Ted is destroyed, the ring can be used repeatedly to create new Teds who will have no association with the prior Teds.
+At the time a Ted rises, it gets a blank character sheet, fresh stat rolls, and counts as a fighter class character. Teds have no flesh so can’t have natural vocal chords to talk with. They are, skeletons until whatever fate and experience say otherwise. No two Teds will ever be alike.
