It changed hands a long time ago during the [[Toc Clan Coal Mine Event]]. A main road leading north goes right through its gates, and the [[goblin|Coal Goblins]] use it to try to extort money from travelers using that road. Going around it is impossible for large carts due to the hilly nature of the area.
