| The **Mirror House**'s current owner is [[Preston]] who found himself transported to [[Goldvale]] which he was entirely unfamiliar with via the [[Disorienting Scrunchie]]. It transported him directly to the house's special chamber where a [[Koa-Toa Idol]] and Statue changed him, turning him from an obvious undead state to something more living seeming. | The **Mirror House**'s current owner is [[Preston]] who found himself transported to [[Goldvale]] which he was entirely unfamiliar with via the [[Disorienting Scrunchie]]. It transported him directly to the house's special chamber where a [[Kuo-Toa_Idol]] and Statue changed him, turning him from an obvious undead state to something more living seeming. His brief time in Goldvale has found him officially taking ownership of the house with the blessing of [[Jack]] since the former owners vanished a couple months before he arrived. Those owners being of course [[Eyrun]] & [[Jules]]. This has resulted in 3 more statues forming in not too long of a time to keep him feeling "alive" entirely due to their power. Given that he is from the [[Tropeical Sea]] where these same Kuo-Toa [[gods]] are worshiped, this is all oddly fitting even though they have all ended up far inland on another continent. Preston has essentially made the house his own, has no pets, changed the locks, and does not consider this to be the house of any former owners. |
