| **Outkast Magics** is a run down looking small magic shop in [[The Cans]] district of [[Mythburg]]. Instead of offering magical wares for sale the proprietor, a likewise "outkast" gnome wizard named **Steph-ius** attempts to deal with peoples' magical issues. Some things he can handle, some things he can't. This might best be thought of as a repair or fix it style shop for magical issues, where work might be done on location, possibly taking a few days, or Steph-ius might be recruited to go work on something elsewhere. | | While the **physical location** of **Outkast Magics** sits in [[The Cans]], there is a second way to access the shop. [[Steph-ius]] wasn't originally from [[Mythburg]] or even the continent it is on. He's actually a wizard that left the [[Tower Of Six]], as he didn't accept their belief system about the [[ForceKin]] after spending some time there as an apprentice. When he left he traveled a little bit to the North, finding himself in [[Hylund:Petteese Creek]] where he set up the original **Outkast Magics** shop. This was fine until at one point a guy named [[Jack]] came into the shop with something called a [[Half Star Portal Stones|Half Star Portal Stone]] and wanted **Steph-ius** to figure out what exactly it does and how it is used. Steph-ius experimented with it, and a portal opened. A portal to somewhere that a rip in the fabric of space-time was easy. This somewhere was none other than [[The Cans]] of [[Mythburg]] because all of the magic use there was an easy attractant for the portal to form in. Thinking quickly, Steph-ius cast some stabilizing magics, which went a little wild. The end result was that him, and his shop, transported physically to Mythburg. An illusion of the shop, with a front door that functions as a portal to the real shop, was left behind, as well as the **Half Star Portal Stone**. Which of course Jack recovered.((Because it chronologically was part of the campaign later in the timeline.)) |

| | This illusion version of **Outkast Magics** allows anyone to step through the front door and arrive in the real shop in [[Mythburg]]. It however has limitations, such as those who step in through the portal can only exit the shop again through the portal instead of the real/local front door, so they end up right back in [[Hylund:Petteese Creek]]. Oddly, or fortunately for Steph-ius, merchandise can be transported to and fro with visitors. He treats anyone visiting the shop from Petteese Creek very discretely as it is an unofficial side hustle that most in Mythburg are unaware exists. He really has no clue how this all anchored a magic portal that performs this way, but he's certainly content to take advantage of the situation. |

Steph-ius was unable to comply after finding out the bag was sentient and above his skill level.
