     * Newer party member [[Vesper]], while taking a turn holding the [[Shovel Of Alden]] decides to give it back to [[Jack]] for safe keeping, absolving The Party of the burden of dragging it around. This frees Jack to protect it somehow once again.
+  * Jack helped The Party negotiate an accord with the vampires of [[Sucker Lake]] and which led to [[The Dam Holiday]].
+  * Up in [[Hylund:Petteese Creek]] it was discovered by The Party that Jack had visited a store called [[Outkast Magics]] many years ago at some point due to the mention of the [[Half Star Portal Stones|Half Star Portal Stone]] by the shop keeper. Thus Jack continues to have interesting links to many events and places, certainly maintaining his status as a major NPC.
