Goldvale
The town of Goldvale gets its name from having a really impressive goldfish pond that connects to irrigation and drainage ditches that span all over the main parts of town. Tiny bridges, while not made a big deal of, are all over the place to allow for the ample flow of water and goldfish. This name sometimes confuses adventurers that come here looking for of course, actual gold. Most adventures come here seeking the three artifacts that one can learn about at the local tavern.

Phases
Phase 1 of Goldvale began when PCs Eyrun & Jules first came to town & ended upon the return from Mustardia. Later they'd be joined at different points by Urist & Alimir. During this time they explored the love triangle between Skip, Phil & Ema. This resulted in Skip & Ema being estranged & established Phil as a pretty decent alchemist who constantly gets visits for any reason that requires abnormal medical attention. They were introduced to many aspects of the influence of Alden including the Toc Clan Coal Mine Event & during this phase acquired the Shovel Of Alden only to bury it at the Goldfish Pond. Also during this phase The Party completely failed to catch on to what the whole goldfish vibe is about, avoided anything to do with the hermit, never really explored Sucker Lake, and the Rusty Cave was unexplored. Since the main point of Phase 1 was to get into the love triangle and introduce Alden, that's fine.
Phase 2 of Goldvale began when The Party returned from Mustardia.9) Various existing NPCs got some plot upgrades and a few new NPCs arose from previously unnamed generic locals and newcomers from out of town. Some new lore and locations were added to the Goldvale map, essentially re energizing Goldvale.
Phase 3 of Goldvale began when The Party returned from the Havenspass region after being gone for several months of in game time. They arrive back to find a few key things have changed, such as Preston has moved into the Mirror House, Phil & Fig-Daisy officially got married, Ema has three problematic kids, and several new plots lines are in effect. This coincides with a shake up of the members of The Party as Eyrun was removed and Vesper joined.
