Quests

This is here to refresh everyone's memories between games and during games of what is actually available to do. A 4th wall breaking reminder by your charming Dungeon Master of what's what.

Main Plot Energy

  • Primary Objective For The Cans: Figure out what's up with Pigsfeet Canning.
    • It closed unexpectedly, workers were turned away, and something is amiss.
      • You now know that there's fake gold being produced at the location.
      • The Ku seems to think that Orangebeard is involved.
      • You're in the midst of invading the damn facility!
      • But what do you DO about all this is the real question? Take advantage, be goody two-shoes, get cozy with law enforcement, or embrace street justice? Or does Urist get you some sweet contracts with a certain banana exporting trade ambassador.
    • This is literally the whole point of The Cans right here, this mystery.
  • Orangebeard Quest: Orangebeard The Lovely wants Urist to intimidate a canning company so that they will work with Orangebeard's company to can fruit. This means Urist can act as a thug to get favors from Orangebeard.
    • Keep in mind that Orangebeard controls a private ship and is a potential way onto the seas, which could be very important, or completely ignored depending on if this incarnation of a party wants to linger in a huge city getting more and more sucked in for awhile. Orangebeard will not be in town forever!
    • Now that Urist with The Party has in fact roughed up the owner of Jammy John's, known as Jon Cannery, Urist (and party) seem compliant with Orangebeard. The same Orangebeard who might be able to make the party rich, or find them more work and who knows what else? Or Urist could turn on Orangebeard and shit could hit the fan. We'll see. This all comes down to personal interest, chaos, law & order, vigilantism, and more motives.
  • Plot Against The City: Something might be up with the food at the Tin-Roast, as should be suspected based on “V”'s journal. This could be The Party's problem or it could be left alone.
    • The Party must decide which side of the law they're going to be on at some point. Either they're going to end up very content to make the city function properly as Lord Huacan Tang would have it, or they're going to end up wanting to embrace the shady underbelly of the city and reject law. This will be complicated by various relationships with NPCs.

TBD Agendas

  • Anything attached to the door at The Lobster Tank.
    • The stolen manuscript that needs to be recovered.
    • The Widow's vengeful ghost.
    • Kidnapping advertisement.
    • The Guard Captain's corrupt Lieutenant.
    • The Dockside Horror.
    • Potential new things on the door as well with any game session.
    • The church, The Tribunal & the city watch all have their own quests waiting for anyone that starts asking btw.

Trival 'The Cans' Quests

  • Peg Leg Yeet needs 500 more gold to be able to purchase a new ship. This only matters to PCs if they want to have a captain in their lives who is friendly to them. More so for Urist if he wants to explore his backstory.
  • The Noble who had the disloyal bodyguard wants someone to kill the bodyguard for 20gp.
